How does JET Plasma work? 

Plasma is generated when the atmospheric gas between the plasma pen tip and the skin is ionized creating a small electrical arc, similar to a tiny lightening bolt, which is used to treat the problem areas without unwanted damage to the surrounding tissues.

While other treatments claim to be JET Plasma, (such as plasma shower or plasma stamping) they can only minimally effect the epidermis, while JET Plasma penetrates to the deeper dermal layers, where the real work happens. This is where your fibroblast cells begin producing collagen. JET Plasma increases the absorption rate of products applied to the skin following the treatment, allowing them to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin.

JET Plasma Aftercare

Aftercare for Jet Plasma is simple. Do not apply anything , including make up to the skin for 12 hours, anddo not exercise, sauna, or steam. The skin may have some mild redness and feel tight.

What Happens During A Treatment?

You may feel some heat from the jet plasma device energy – but it is very minimal. This energy causes lax skin to contract, resulting in the production of collagen and elastin, as well as a general rejuvenating effect. The constriction of the skin can be seen with the naked eye right away as the cell membranes tighten as a result of a series of physiological events. 

JET Plasma treatments do not include cutting, injecting, numbing, burning, or removing skin or tissue. One treatment generally consists of the entire face, but Jet Plasma can also be used on most parts of the body.
